In Biel, our clients wanted to breathe new life into one of the bedrooms in their upstairs home. Having remained unchanged for many years, the room no longer reflected their lifestyle or current desires. The goal was clear: to transform this sleeping space into a bright and comfortable bedroom, incorporating a functional dressing area and benefiting from a simple, elegant, and timeless design.
More than just a simple refresh, it was about imagining a pleasant living space for everyday use, capable of combining aesthetics, comfort, and practicality. Step 1: Diagnosis and project design
From the first exchanges, we took care to understand their needs and habits precisely. The clients wanted a space that exudes serenity, where every detail contributes to creating an atmosphere conducive to rest.
We therefore envisioned a comprehensive project centered around four main axes:
- The modernization of the floors to bring warmth and comfort.
- The renovation of the walls to maximize brightness and provide a calming environment.

Step 2: Site preparation
The project began with the complete removal of the old floor coverings and damaged walls. Our teams then sanitized the room to start from a healthy foundation. This preparatory step, often invisible but essential, ensures the durability of the work and the quality of the final result.
Step 3: Installation of the new floor

Step 4: Renovation and covering of the walls
The walls were renovated and covered with a bright white paint. This deliberately understated choice reflects natural light and gives an impression of space. Step 5: Custom layout – the integrated dressing area
One of the central points of this project was the creation of an integrated dressing area behind wide white sliding doors. This discreet layout, perfectly integrated into the room, allows for the storage of clothes and accessories without cluttering the space. It contributes to the clean and orderly appearance of the bedroom, ensuring comfort and serenity.
Step 6: Installation of the design sliding door
To enhance the contemporary style, we installed a black barn-style sliding door to separate the bedroom from the adjoining bathroom. With its distinctive design and contrasting color, it becomes a strong decorative element, adding character and a modern touch that energizes the whole space.

This renovated bedroom is not only functional; it has been designed as a true cocoon of well-being. The warm flooring and bright walls create a soothing atmosphere, ideal for promoting rest.
