Why choose Avenir Renovations?
Joinery installed according to the scope of the project in the canton of Basel-City
Each joinery renovation service comes with a guarantee covering the installation and materials, from replacing a single window to fully equipping a house. Your installation of joinery in Basel adapts to the scope of your project, whether in a house or an apartment in a co-ownership.
Replace a single window or door
A window lets in cold air, or your damaged front door no longer closes properly. In this case, a targeted replacement is often sufficient: our craftsmen take the measurements of the opening, then replace the old frame with a new joinery. This replacement is part of the installation of joinery that our renovation company in Basel carries out in an occupied residence.
Renovate multiple openings in the house
Combining the renovation of your windows and doors into a single project avoids spreading the work over several years. Our Project Manager organizes a single measurement session and a single installation schedule. Your openings also maintain a uniform appearance, with identical profiles and colors.
This grouping also simplifies the preparation of a request for assistance, as all the relevant openings are included in the same file. With Avenir Renovations Basel, the choice between wood, PVC, and aluminum is made piece by piece, according to exposure and use. A bathroom window does not have the same needs as a living room bay window.
Equip an entire house with custom joinery
Changing all the joinery in a house without checking the effect on the facade risks a late refusal from the municipality or the co-ownership. Our agency therefore checks the external appearance and the co-ownership agreement before any firm order. For a complete project, our renovation company in Basel offers several families of joinery:
- solid wood windows, high-performance PVC, or thermally coated aluminum,
- interior doors and front doors,
- wooden or metal stairs,
- custom closets and dressing rooms, as well as shutters and blinds.
The materials harmonize from one room to another.
How does a joinery project proceed in Basel?
A joinery project involves precise measurements, technical choices, sometimes necessary permits, and careful installation. Coordinating these steps with multiple stakeholders can quickly lead to delays. At Avenir Renovations, our Project Manager oversees your file from the first visit to the final inspection.
With Avenir Renovations Switzerland in the canton of Basel-City: simplified procedures and a personalized quote
Beyond the progress of the work, your carpentry project also involves administrative files to be prepared and a budget to know from the start. At Avenir Renovations Basel, these two aspects are part of the service, just like the installation of your windows and doors.
An application for thermal insulation aid must be submitted before the start of the work. The replacement of windows is generally supported only if it is part of an insulation of the building envelope.
With Avenir Renovations, our agency submits your applications for cantonal and municipal subsidies, as well as those of the Building Program, before the start of the work. You no longer have to gather the documents for the file alone or keep track of deadlines. However, the granting of aid remains subject to the decision of the competent authority.
A quote request that goes unanswered for weeks delays your entire project. At Avenir Renovations Basel, our agency commits to responding within 24 to 48 hours to each request, with a callback within 48 hours. This first exchange allows us to assess the condition of your carpentry and your priorities.
This free and personalized quote is provided even when it requires a visit from our Project Manager to your home. It details, for each opening, the chosen material and selected options. You thus have a clear basis for decision-making before any commitment.
How much do carpentry installation works cost in Basel?
The cost of your carpentry varies according to the type of work, the chosen material, and the area to be equipped, making each quote specific to your home.
Several elements affect the quote. The dimensions of the openings and the type of glazing influence the final amount, as do the finish of wood, PVC, or aluminum. Access to the site also counts, especially on upper floors or in a narrow courtyard. When the exterior appearance changes, a municipal permit or the agreement of the homeowners' association may be added to the procedures. Our Project Manager evaluates these points during the visit and incorporates them into the estimate.
To know the exact budget for your carpentry installation works in Basel, our agency provides an estimate after taking measurements. A simple quote request is enough to initiate the study of your project.
Prices for carpentry installation works in Basel (including tax)
| Types of work | Average price |
| Installation of PVC window | 575 CHF per m² |

Is a permit required to install exterior joinery in Basel-City?
Replacing your windows with identical ones, same dimensions, same position, comparable appearance, generally requires no authorization, according to the municipality's practice. As soon as the number of openings, dimensions, or appearance of the facade changes, the municipality's agreement becomes necessary, and the homeowners' association must express its opinion in the condominium.
For a protected building, our construction professional examines your situation, as authorization may be required even for identical replacements. In the canton of Basel-City, cantonal energy subsidies can fund thermal insulation up to 50 CHF per square meter of glazed surface. The application must be submitted to the Office of Environment and Energy before any work begins.
