Why choose Avenir Renovations?
What work is required for a bathroom renovation in Geneva?
A bathroom renovation in Geneva involves several trades, from structural work to finishing, managed by the same company. Our building professional first assesses the condition of the networks. He then offers you a complete service on the coverings and equipment suited to your use, including a PMR bathroom fit-out when accessibility is necessary.
Plumbing, electricity, and ventilation: upgrading the networks
Upgrading the networks always starts with plumbing. In a Geneva building from the 60s, you might come across lead pipes that would make any seasoned plumber raise an eyebrow. Our renovation company in Geneva first tackles this invisible project. It checks the pipes, replaces outdated water inlets with quality equipment, and brings the electrical installation up to Swiss standards.
In older buildings in the canton, the plumbing may accumulate several decades and deserves thorough inspection before renovating the coverings. If necessary, our agency adds mechanical ventilation to expel humidity and preserve your coverings over time. For these technical interventions, our plumbing work remains supervised from start to finish by the same point of contact.
Choosing and installing sanitary ware and tiles
The choice of sanitary ware shapes the atmosphere of the room as much as its comfort of use. A walk-in shower, a freestanding bathtub, or a wall-mounted sink, each element is chosen according to the available space and your habits. For floors, our floor tiling enhances both small Geneva spaces and large family bathrooms. A large format in porcelain stoneware adds volume to a compact room, while mosaic tiling brings character to more generous spaces. The storage furniture completes the whole and optimizes every available corner for an installation that is both practical and aesthetic.
The steps of a bathroom renovation in Geneva
A bathroom renovation in Geneva always follows the same guiding principle, from design to final reception. Our Project Manager coordinates each step with the relevant craftsmen, ensuring a smooth, controlled project that meets Avenir Rénovations' quality standards.
What budget to plan for a bathroom renovation in Geneva?
The budget for a bathroom renovation in Geneva, expressed in Swiss francs, depends on the area, the level of finish, and the initial condition of the networks. A bathroom that requires a complete plumbing overhaul will have a higher cost than a simple aesthetic makeover. The choice of materials, from high-end tiles to custom furniture, also weighs in the balance.
A small bathroom of 4 m² does not require the same investment as a family room of 10 m² with a bathtub and a double sink. To refine your project before starting, our tool for estimating the price of a bathroom renovation remains a free service that provides you with a first personalized range.
